Rockland Friends Meeting proudly joined Hudson Valley organizations, businesses, and allies in the Nyack Pride Parade on June 8, 2025. Their participation reaffirmed a deep commitment to LGBTQ+ inclusion and human dignity.

Standing in solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community, Rockland Meeting Friends carried banners reading "Let your life speak" and "We are the ones we've been waiting for." Rockland Friends Meeting has long embraced full inclusion of LGBTQ+ individuals in its worship and community life.

By marching in the Pride Parade, Rockland continued the Quaker tradition of public witness and social justice advocacy, amplifying the voices of those who have been marginalized and excluded. The meeting supports LGBTQ+ rights, along with broader commitments to racial justice, peace, and environmental stewardship.
