Old Chatham Monthly Meeting (Quakers) wishes to extend to you and the Islamic community in the Capital District our deep feelings of friendship and warmth. As members of the Religious Society of Friends, we believe that there is that of God in every person, and we seek that Light in all of our relationships. Although we may not know one another personally, we are neighbors. We share with you the same faith in meeting violence with non-violence, bigotry with tolerance, and hatred with love.

We also offer our active support in any education and outreach efforts to increase understanding and the recognition that we live in one world. Please call me . . . if we can be of service in these efforts.
