Instructions for Printing
Advance Reports
(Back to Back)

  1. Open printer dialogue box (<ctrl>-P or File → Print).
  2. Under “Subset,” select “Even pages only.”
  3. Click “Reverse pages.”
  4. Click “Properties” (top right).
  5. Under “Orientation” click “Landscape.”
  6. Click “OK.”
  7. Click “OK” again.

The pages will now print out. You may need to keep an eye on the pages as they emerge, to keep them in order.

To print the rest of the pages on the blank sides of the paper:

  1. Put the printed pages into the paper tray in such a way that printing will occur on the blank side. Insert them “upside-down.”
  2. Again open printer dialogue box (<ctrl>-P or File → Print).
  3. Under “Subset,” select “Odd pages only.”
  4. Click the “Reverse pages.” box to uncheck it.
  5. Under “Properties” (top right), make sure “Landscape” is still checked.
  6. Click “OK.”
  7. Click “OK” again.

The pages will print out on the reverse of the pages you already printed. If you remembered to insert the paper “upside-down,” the pages will all have the same up-down orientation.

NOTE: You may wish to try this with a small range of pages (e.g., 1–6 or 1–8) before printing the entire document.
