Our Values

We endeavor to live by testimonies of integrity, simplicity, equality, peace, and community. We follow the teachings of Jesus and the early Quakers. We believe in the worth of every person and have faith in the power of love to overcome violence and injustice.

We are a community of Friends respecting diversity, open to new light from wherever it might shine. Our service to others is our service to God. Our religious society stands as witness to the power of love and to the possibility of world peace.

Friends try to manifest our common values in our daily lives.

  • God’s inward presence is experienced universally.
  • Revelation is continuous.
  • Simplicity, integrity, community, and diversity are essential in the search for truth.
