Advancement Catalog

NYYM Advancement Committee has been hard at work to provide outreach tools for local meetings to make themselves more visible. Here is an on line catalogue of items available. Contact Chad Dell, clerk of Advancement Committee, cdell [at] monmouth.edu, if you have any further questions.

1. Business Cards for outreach, an example pictured below, can be purchased by going to www.vistaprint.com and logging in with Quakerkate@aol.com (email) and margaretfell (password). We have several examples to choose from. Find the card that suits your needs and make a credit card order and ship to any address that you wish. Price about $65 total for 1,000 cards.

2. Stylized “Quaker” logo for T-shirts or other print materials.

Suzanne Blackburn of Alfred Meeting developed the following artwork for Quaker T-shirts. She offers the .jpg files of the stylized “Q” and “Quaker” (with and without the Quaker Finder web address) for your meeting to use as desired. A photo of the T-shirts sold in Farmington-Scipio Region is shown here. The Quaker logo and web address are dark blue in the left chest position. A few extra shirts may be available from Suzanne, Herb Lape, or at Powell House. These shirts were made and printed by Organic Apparel in the Denver, CO area (www.organicapparel.us). They are made in the USA, sweatshop-free, and 100% organic cotton. The artwork is still on file with Organic Apparel should you want to order shirts from them. For an order of 72 shirts or more, the price is about $9 to $10 per shirt. Suzanne advises that you order men’s shirts for adults; do not order the women’s size shirts as they run very small. 3. Quaker Lapel Pins: Created by Kate Lawson. $5 plus shipping. Contact Kate Lawson at quakerkate [at] aol.com This can also be used as a T-shirt logo.

4. Quaker Story Board Display: Designed by Nadine Hoover. We can send you a CD with the digital file on it and you can have it printed and mounted at a local Staples office supply store for $145. We also have three available for use from the Yearly Meeting Office for the cost of shipping. Contact the office.
