Quaker Family Meetups

Opportunities for families in a region to get together, share fellowship, worship sharing, and concerns about Quaker parenting and raising families in today's world.

About Quaker Family Meetups

What: Quaker Family Meetups are opportunities for families of infants to teens to get together for fellowship, worship sharing, and spiritual refreshment, sharing the joys and challenges of Quaker parenting and raising our families today.
These are simple occasions for families in a quarter or region to gather to be in relationship with one another; the children play, and the adults have worship sharing and fellowship together.

The thread that runs through the events is a desire to better know and support one another.

Where and when: They are hosted by local meetings for all familes in the region and typically last about trwo and a half hours. See the yearly meeting calendar (Events menu tab on the website) for upcoming Meetups.
Flexible scheduling takes family schedules and nap times for little ones into consideration.

How: NYYM staff provide a flyer to share, child care providers, and light refreshments; we collaborate on spreading the word to families in monthly meetings and the quarter or region.

Childcare is provided and parents are welcome to attend with or without kids.
