Meeting for Worship Time and DirectionsOur meetings for worship occur on Sundays at 10:30 A.M. Meetings are held at the Parish House of the Seventh Day Baptist Church Women's Society, 6 West University Street in Alfred, New York. Worship concludes at about 11:30 A.M. followed by tea, snacks. Directions: The Parish House is on a one-way street heading toward Main Street, Alfred. Driving to the meeting house from Main Street requires a few turns. (Note that Alfred University is on one side of Main Street; the “business district” is on the other side of the street.) From Main Street, turn onto Church Street (a one-way street in the business district). Turn left onto Mill Street, then left onto West University Street. The Parish House is on the left side of the street, opposite the Alfred Village Hall/Police Department. Free parking is available in a lot next to the Parish House. A sign placed on the lawn or sidewalk in front of the building indicates the entrance. There is a set of stairs that leads up to a white door which most people use to enter. Enter the door, and the room we use for Meeting is through the first door on your left, indicated by a small sign on the door. Sometimes the door is open, sometimes it is closed. Feel free to enter in either case. A ramp is also located to the right of the main entrance if you have difficulty with stairs. Follow the ramp to the first door on the left. Enter and turn left, walking down a corridor with coat racks. After you pass the coat racks, our Meeting room will be on your right; this is the same door described above.
