Quaker Outreach Roundtables

Quaker Outreach Roundtables are day-long programs held in a local NYYM meetinghouse focused on improving outreach and advancement.

Roundtable Structure

Quaker Roundtables have three parts:

  • presentations in the morning session by (usually) three Friends with ideas or experience in outreach,
  • lunch—a simple midday meal, and then
  • discussion and what next—discussion focused on action in and by local meetings. This discussion might be inspired by the presentations or whatever concerns the participants bring to the event.
